My Reading Prediction.


I have learnt to use pictures to give detailed predictions about the story.

I liked how I almost made a correct prediction about the story.

Im proud of thinking about a good prediction.

Basic Facts Speed Graph

During the week we practise our basic facts for our homework. On Fridays we have a speed test where we try to complete 100 facts in 6 minutes 30 seconds. This graph shows my scores so far.
I like this because I do my best ever time we do my basic facts. 
When I look at this graph I can see I can see both low grades and high grades. I am proud of my work.

Sensory Garden Recount

Reflection on my Recount -

  • Underline where you think you are in your learning of the sensory recount.

Extended Abstract
I can help someone else to suggest ways to improve their own sensory recount.

Relational
I can add a poetic device to make it more interesting e.g simile, metaphor or alliteration.

Multistructural
I can describe using more than 2 senses in my recount.

Unistructural
I can describe using at least 2 of my senses in my recount.

Pre-structural
I need help to find words to describe what I see, feel, touch, or hear.


I have put myself at the multistructural stage because I can think of more than two senses to write about in my recount.

My next learning step is to work on adding alliteration and similes to my writing and recounts.
